How to Sign up for The Veterans Choice Program for Acupuncture
May 11, 2017

The VA, (Veterans Administration) has exciting news! The Veterans Choice program allows acupuncture in your area. Sign up, get approved and receive up to 52 treatments per year paid by the VA!!. If you know anything about acupuncture and its benefits, this is a real blessing to you!

The Neeley Center for Health is a VA-approved acupuncture clinic in Huntsville, AL. This is a safe place to be seen and heard.

Acupuncture is the real deal

TCM has a proven established reputation of healing, most conditions can be greatly improved or even corrected. Acupuncture treatments are consistently void of side effects.  Used in conjunction with Chinese herbs is perfectly safe and beneficial for most conditions facing the veteran.  Here are a few benefits:

  • Reduce Anxiety
  • Decrease Chronic Pain
  • Better-Quality Sleep
  • Increased Energy and Mental Clarity
  • PTSD Relief
  • Improved Blood Flow-Promotes Faster Healing Time
  • Helps Reduce Addictions
  • Stress Reduction
  • Elevates Mood

Traditional Chinese Medicine a complete modality

“Dry needling” is not Traditional Chinese Medicine.  This is a western medicine add on.   Board Certified acupuncturists have a detailed education in Chinese medicine. This technique of dry needling does nothing to correct the cause of your health issues,  but it does relieve symptoms.

The fact that the Veterans Choice Program is supporting acupuncture speaks volumes about the efficacy and validity of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The training involved in becoming a licensed and board certified acupuncturist incorporates a complete healing modality that addresses the root causes of all conditions. Taking a greatly shortened course in needling does not compare with years of philosophy and detailed training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Board certified acupuncturists will ensure you of the highest standard of patient care in the VA.

Do I have to have a health issue to have acupuncture?

No. The goal of Traditional Chinese Medicine is to keep you well.  Regular acupuncture treatments can keep your body in a homeostasis state for optimal continual healing.  Your body is a natural healer.  Fortunately, The VA is giving you an opportunity to take advantage of this government offer.
